Srinagar: The death toll in the Awantipora road accident in Pulwama district has reached 7 as one more migrant worker from Bihar succumbed to his injuries at SMHS Hospital Srinagar on Sunday evening.
Six migrant workers from Bihar had died while over two dozen sustained injuries in an accident in Goripora, Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district two weeks ago.

The deceased were identified as Muhammad Saleem, Raj Kumar, Kaisar Alam, Naseer-ud-Din, Muhammad Gulzar all residents of Bihar and Ali Hasan Ansari, a native of Jharkhan.
Hospital sources at SMHS Hospital told news agency Kashmir News Trust that one more injured identified as Irshad Aalam, a native of Bihar state of India succumbed to his injuries taking the death toll to seven.
Hospital sources added that the condition of a couple of injured is still critical.
