Institute of Hotel Management organizes Yuva Tourism Club activities

Srinagar: An awareness session regarding ‘Yuva Tourism Club’ activities was organized in the Auditorium of Institute of Hotel Management, Srinagar on 28.02.2023. Besides awareness, a quiz and a painting competition as a part of Yuva tourism club activities were also organized. The event saw enthusiastic participation from the students of IHM Srinagar as well as students from various Kendriya Vidyalas. The competition was aimed at promoting tourism among the youth and creating awareness about the various tourist destinations in J&K. The quiz tested the students’ knowledge about history, culture and geography of India while the painting competition gave them an opportunity to showcase their creativity and imagination.

Mr. Anil Oraw, Regional Director (North) India tourism, Principal of IHM Srinagar, faculty of IHM and Kendriya Vidyala, Members of Downtown legacy tour were present at the event. Mementos and appreciation certificates were presented to winners, runners and students who participated in the competition.
