Jammu, Aug 4 : Five persons were killed and 11 others injured, nine of the critically, when a tempo they were travelling in met with an accident along Jammu-Srinagar highway near Kela Morh in Ramban district.

Official sources told GNS the tempo (JKO2AP0-533) skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge. Five persons were killed and eleven others were injured in the accident. All the injured were shifted to hospital by rescuers comprising locals and police, they said.

SHO Ramban Sandeep Charak told GNS that five persons were killed and 11 others were injured in the accident. “Five of the critically injured have been shifted to Srinagar hospital and asmany others to GMC Jammu. One person is admitted to Ramban hospital,” he added. (GNS)
