Faith knows no Barriers: 16 Yatris from UP travel to Amarnath cave shrine on Cycles

Srinagar, Jul 23 : Sixteen Yatris from Uttar Pradesh have performed the darshan at the holy cave of Amarnath Yatra after travelling to the cave shrine on cycles. The group of pilgrims is also planning to visit the shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra, Jammu and entire trip will be completed in 28 days.

“We all started our journey on July 05 and are expected to return home in around 25-28 days,” they said told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). Anokhi Lal from Manpuri UP, who is part of the group told KNO said that they have already paid obeisance at the holy cave in Pahalgam area and now are heading towards to pay obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra.

He said that people here are very cooperative and environment is also peaceful besides that Kashmir is most beautiful place in the world.

“We are 16 persons from same area in UP and within 28 days, we will be back after paying obeisance at Amarnath Cave and Mata vaishno Devi temple Katra,” he said.

Vinod Kumar another pilgrim, said that on 5th July they started their journey and so far it was a very beautiful travel experience with full support and cooperation of administration as well as Public.

“We are feeling very happy here in Kashmir as it is surrounded by beautiful mountains besides that we haven’t faced any kind of problems here,” he said.

“This is my third visit to holy cave on cycle as I have already paid obeisance at holy cave in 2009 and 2011 on cycle,” Kumar said. “Our message to all people will be to visit Kashmir without any choice and there is no problem at all, ” he said. Other Yatris also said that they didn’t face any problem during this Yatra and requested others to visit here as people here are very much hospitable, loving and cooperative—(KNO)
