473 militancy incidents reported, 104 forces personnel killed in J&K in last 2 years: MHA

 

Srinagar, July 19(KNS): The Ministry of Home Affairs, (MHA) on Tuesday informed that 473 militancy related incident have been reported, besides 104 security force personnel have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir since last two years. 

 
The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai while replying to question in parliament said that 473 militancy related incident were recorded, besides 104 security force personnel have been killed in J&K since last two years.
 
“224 security force personnel were killed in 2020 while 229 in 2021,” he said, adding that 224 security force personnel were injured in the last two years with 106 in year 2020 and 117 in 2021.
 
Rai futher said that 78 civilians were also killed in J&K with 37 in 2020 and 41 in 2021. Besides 187 civillian injuries were recorded with 112 in 2020 and 75 in 2021.
