Principal ASE Asma Sadiq
said that sports and athletic meets are very important as it is part of education.

“The new National Education Policy, emphasises on sports and skill development of students. We want our students to set their ambition in life so that they can pursue hard and achieve it. We have a full fledged physical education department that is preparing the ASEIANS from a tender age, so that they can participate in the national and international level thereby bringing laurels to the state and nation,” Asma Sadiq added.

The students took part in various athletic events including javelin throw, sack race, splinter race, rally race, hoolahoop and tug of war.

Speaking on the occasion, the physical education department head Aadil Sher said that ASE believes in overall development of the students.
