Srinagar: Apni Party Provincial President Women’s Wing Dilshada Shaheen expressed shock and dismay over the medical negligence at LD Hospital that led to the death of a baby in her mother’s womb on Sunday.
Expressing sympathy with the bereaved family members, Dilshad Shaheen demanded probe into the matter and said proper investigation should be initiated so that justice is served to the family members.
Shaheen also raised the issue with Medical Superintendent LD Dr Muzzafar who assured her that proper investigation would carried regarding the issue.
In a statement to the press, Shaheen said ,”No words of sympathy are enough for the parents of the deceased baby who died in her mother’s womb due to the negligence of doctors. Despite repeated requests to the authorities to operate the women as her water level was low, they delayed it by using different excuses like operation threatre isn’t ready. Time again this hospital has been neglecting the patients especially during the crucial phase. Administration should start the investigation process and make sure that justice is served to the affected family members,”
