Kulgam: A number of migratory families have been stuck in the high altitudes of South Kashmir’s Kulgam while authorities have dispatched rescue teams to evacuate them.

The families have been trapped after the inclement weather in the high altitudes of Kounsarnag.

Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr Bilal said that he received distress calls from migratory families stuck in high altitude Kausarnag in Kulgam and accordingly teams were constituted and sent with necessary relief materials including blankets, and waterproof covers, and food items.
