Srinagar: Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam has paid glorious tribute to the renowned, versatile and leading religious figure of Kashmir Moulana Muhammad Qasim Shah Bukhari (RA) on his 23rd passing away anniversary.
Moulana Qasim Shah’s academic, literary, educational, and tableeghi contribution is highly revered and a valuable asset for the Millat-e-Kashmir, the Anjuman said in a statement adding that Moulana Bukhari would be remembered by people for times to come for his comprehensive literary work.
It is an honour for the people of Kashmir that among the proud students of Moulana Qasim Shah Bukhari were Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam founder and former Chairman Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and dozens of other contemporary religious scholars, Muftis, writers and intellectuals who have widely contributed to the betterment of Kashmiri society, the statement said.
Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam on behalf of its leadership especially the incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq has paid rich tribute to Moulana Qasim Shah Bukhari for his invaluable services and prayed to Almighty Allah to elevate the status of late Moulana and grant him highest place in Jannah.
Meanwhile, the Anjuman and its leadership have expressed deep sorrow and shock over the demise of Muhamamd Rafiq Mir, of Rajouri Kadal, presently, Rehmani Colony Ahmad Kadal, who was a long time devotee of Anjuman and the Mirwaiz Family.
Paying homage to the selfless services of late Muhammad Rafiq Mir, the Anjuman expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family members, especially the son Altaf Ahmad Mir and brothers especially Bashir Ahmed Mir.
The Anjuman prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
