Srinagar: Apni Party leadership on directions of Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari visited the residence of Ambreen Bhat a TV artist who was shot dead by terrorists at her residence in Chadoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district. The delegation was led by Apni Party Vice President and Former Cabinet Minister Javaid Mustafa Mir along with State Secretary Muntazir Mohi-ud-din and Incharge Charar-i-Sharief constituency Mushtaq Zuhami.
During the visit, the party leaders expressed sympathies with the bereaved family members and prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members of the deceased.
In a statement to the Press, the party leaders condemned the brutal act and said that targetting innocent lives would not serve any purpose but would further add on to the pre-existing miseries of the people.
“The people of Jammu and Kashmir have already suffered enough till date. Such inhumane and barbaric acts by cowardly attackers is not going to serve any purpose other than taking us back to tormented times. In this hour of grief, entire cadre of Apni Party stands in solidarity with the family members of Ambreen Bhat.I would pray for endurance to the bereaved family members in such difficult times and peace to the departed soul,” Mustafa said.
