SRINAGAR :-Post Graduate Department of Oral Pathology Govt. Dental College Srinagar here on 25th Feb. organised a day long programme under the aegis of Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist celebrates National Oral Pathologist day.  Prof. (Dr.) Riyaz Farooq, the Dean / Principal, Govt. Dental College Srinagar presided over the function.  Speaking on the occasion, Prof.

Riyaz said that the role of oral pathology is very important for oral health.

 Several activities were carried out by the Department, including panel discussion, symposium, poster presentation, preparation drives  etc.  to commemorate the national oral pathologist day, 2022 . Besides sweets / refreshment were served to the to the workers participants.

 Various doctors, professors, PG Scholars, Resident Doctors participated in the programme.

Highlighting the significance of the day, the Head of Department of Oral Pathalogy, Prof. (Dr.)  Suheel H. Latoo recalled the hard work of Dr. H.M Dholakia in the field of Oral Pathology.

 He called upon the students and doctors to follow his footsteps to cherish their goals in this specific field.

  He also appreciated the efforts of the Department for organizing this important function.

Dr. M shafi, Dr, Adil malik , Dr. Aafreen Nadaf , Dr, Owaid Gowhar , Dr, Rezhat Abbas, Dr Zeenat Shah among others spoke on the occasion.

The proceedings of the programme was conducted by Dr. Adil Malik
