GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 18: Assistant Commissioner Development Ganderbal, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat (JKAS), on Friday, visited Lar Block of District Ganderbal. He chaired a joint meeting of Officers/officials and PRIs of the Block and impressed upon them to work in full coordination for attaining better results. Besides the progress of works being implemented under various developmental schemes of the Department in general and under Area Development Plan (DDC/BDC/PRI Grants), MGNREGA & PMAY-G in particular, was reviewed in the meeting.

 

The ACD hailed the role of all the officers/officials of the Block in achieving a considerable progress w.r.t. all the sectors. He stressed upon them to work with zeal and zest so as to excel during these crucial days of fag end of the financial year 2021-22.

 

He emphasized on working in mission mode to meet the desired targets and work meticulously while taking PRIs on board right from the step of planning upto the level of execution of all developmental projects.

 

Later the officer took on-the -spot stock of various ongoing & completed developmental works under Area Development Fund (DDC/BDC/PRI Grants). He stressed upon the officials of the Block to speed-up the execution of these works while taking full advantage of the fair weather so that desirable targets are achieved within stipulated time without compromising over the quality of the works.

 

An interaction cum grievance redressal programme with the PRIs including DDC members, BDC Chairperson and all Sarpanchs of the Block also formed the part of the visit.
