Srinagar: Senior BJP leader & Incharge Sonawari constituency Iqbal Jan has strongly militant condemned grenade attack on security forces in which a cop was killed and four persons including three CRPF jawans were injured at Nishat Park area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The senior BJP leader expressed solidarity with the slain policeman’s family and urged the administration to provide best possible treatment to the injured personnel.
“It is an act of cowardice and I strongly condemn it. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. I pray for the eternal peace to the deceased. I urge the LG administration and higher ups of security to intensify efforts and put an end to such mindless violence,” said Iqbal Jan.
“I urge administration to provide suitable cash compensation to the bereaved family and in addition job to the victim’s family member. The militants are hellbent on disrupting peace and there is a need to put an end to violence,” he added.
Unknown militants on Friday lobbed a grenade in Nishat Park Bandipora in which a cop was killed and at least three CRPF jawans were injured.
