The year 2014, when the whole political scenario from Jammu to Kanyakumari has seen a drastic change and Narender Modi as the new face of Hindu streaked Bhartiya Janata Party. Narender Modi hijacked the parliament election by winning with a record number of seats. And sends an alarm, resulting as the booster to the hard-core Hindu organisations across the country.
Recalling the party’s manifesto diversely, whereas, the words ‘Pakistan’ and ‘terrorism’ were the duo’s used frequently by the present-day Prime Minister of India to stimulate the voters towards the ruling party. The scenario was acknowledged as the ‘Modi Wave’ across the country. Hence, Modi won India—– politically.
Despite winning elections politically, the manifesto was clear to brace the country economically and usher towards the Hindu Rashtra and proved to be the sympathisers of the majoritarian population. Being an example of the Muslims who were lynched inhumanely on the roadsides in the different regions of the country. Muslims were threatened, beaten up even were also blamed for mushrooming Corona across the nation.
Modi Secured the country except for the conflict-ridden area under the laps of Mounty Himalayas ___ Kashmir. Modi failed to win the hearts and minds of the people and the region deep-rooted political party make it nerve to outclass the world largest party—-BJP in the valley in parliament election. However, Modi entered Kashmir via assembly by joining hands with the regional Party —–People’s Democratic Party (PDP), but the coalition didn’t last longer, BJP separated its routes with the demise of former Home Minister of the country Mufti Mohammad Sayyed.
During this mess, one of the party members of PDP ditched his supremo and held backdoor talks with Bhartiya Janata Party to form the government but he failed to convince the needed numbers and lately was expelled. Then the new political party came into existence and was tagged as a B-team of the BJP.
Modi won the 2019 election after Modi lead government claimed a surgical strike on Pakistan which Pakistan evidently refuted even the opposition questioned the credibility of the claim in the parliament. Days passed, claims and questions were posing each other. Pulwama attack happened and left 40 security personnel dead including a suicide bomber, this was one of the deadliest militant attacks on Indian security forces from the last couple of decades.
The recent killing in kashmir has sent shock waves to World. After the spate of civillian killings under the name of unknown gunmen, security grid has miserably failed to unmask those unknown gunmen who have mercilessly killed top notch political figures, activists from decades.
From separatist to mainstream leaders of Kashmir, all sections of society hit the roads and condemned this cycle of violence and fresh killings. Analysts believe that there are well nit strategy to defame kashmiri on the name of “Unknown gunmen”.
Kashmir’s hospitality is known for World, and from the decades efforts are on from anti Kashmir elements to tarnish the image of Kashmir.
Prevailing situation governs fake narrative of peace in Kashmir valley. When a situation goes out of control, casualties are bound to happen especially when the so called stakeholders of Kashmir are interested in making those protests violent.
Sometimes, when people are protesting peacefully, these forces send their men in that crowd just to make the things worse. They spoil the nature of protest and in that, innocents also lose their lives.
At the point when a circumstance runs wild, setbacks will undoubtedly happen particularly when the alleged partners of Kashmir are keen on making those fights brutal.
Now and again, when individuals are fighting calmly, these powers send their men in that swarm just to aggravate the things. They ruin the idea of dissent and in that, honest people likewise lose their lives.
Kashmir
Where there is Uncertainty looming everywhere. It is totally different part of the globe without opportunity. Yet, Kashmiris grew up with it. Curfews, crackdowns, network jammers – this is actually life for us, if not opportunity. Dread is an idea that we have figured out how to live with ordinary. Dread inside the state(from armed force men and the govt) and outside( of being called fear based oppressors and unthankful individuals). In any case, this is so set out upon our lives that it nearly appears to be ordinary. We have known no alternate method of living. Those of us that visit different states acknowledge that it is so unique to live there. Individuals live unreservedly without any dread of the public authority or military. They are treated with significance and their day to day routines matter not at all like the existences of Kashmiris. Thousands are killed and tossed into plain graves.
There are potentials for the economy to fill in Kashmir, yet having the discord political conditions, the valley is consistently on a decrease. The individuals who live outside and afterward visit Kashmir, think that it is hard to remain for an extensive stretch of time, since life is at such a leisurely pace here. It is tranquil and quiet however at that point how would you hope to function or advance in a valley that is in nonstop danger of a defeat?
Kashmir was said to be paradise on earth. However, this world is a mean spot to be in. We can just wish that things improve in the valley. It has the right to thrive and individuals have the right to live openly.
Despite being a Hindu nationalist party the early essays ignited hope in Kashmir but the narrative changed with time and on 5th August 2019, they took a further step and scrapped the autonomy of the state (bestowed by the then Maharaja of Kashmir after accession) and bifurcating it into two union territories which further widened the gap between centre and the state, people were anguished, felt alienated and believed that decision was taken in haste and is exponentially politically biased.
The circumstance in the city centre, Srinagar may appear to be normal, yet abominations actually proceed in the remote areas of the valley.
Though their policies are still pleased by the Hindu majority in India but have not achieved anything positive for the minority population and especially in Kashmir and the myth ‘Article 370 is the constraint to development’ in the region created by the ruling party and claims ‘it will open doors of development’ has fallen miserably. Since then, Kashmir has felt alienated in its true sense, violation of laws, innocent killings, rise in militancy and disruption of peace are the developments centre has achieved so far.
