Srinagar: Now health prediction is just a tap away on your smartphone, thanks to a software developed by a north Kashmir engineering student.
The student Ishfaq Ahmad Wani of National Bhargawa College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu has developed a software “Smart Health Prediction System” as part of his project.
“With the Smart Health Prediction System, people can now at a click of a button get deep insights into their health,” said Wani, who hails from Dangerpora – Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The smart report feature helps uncover various health related issues and predict risk of future ones and to expose any latent ones.
Most of the apps available are devoid of features like e-prescription options, whereas this app will make optimum use of AI to do an immediate prediction of the disease and suggests nearby specialists who can be helpful in treating the disease.
“Not only prediction, this App will also connect patients to the nearest healthcare providers, that too immediately, ” Wani, a software engineering student and the developer of this App said.
According to Wani, the App after completion will be fed with huge volumes of healthcare data, which includes symptoms and the diseases or health issues associated with those symptoms.
“The immediate target audiences are the elderly who do not have a support system. It will provide immediate medical support to them and help them to seek medical advice in an emergency situation,” said Wani, adding that he dreams of working in future with NASA or ISRO. (Kashmir Glacier)
