SRINAGAR: Former Provincial Youth President PDP Nazir Yatoo along with scores of his political workers on Friday joined Apni Party at the Party’s Central office in M2 Church Lane, Sonwar.
The joining ceremony took place in presence of Apni Party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Chairman DDC Srinagar Malik Aftab and Party leader & Corporator SMC Mohammad Ashraf Palpori.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party-fold, Rafi Ahmad Mir said Apni Party has always remained committed for the holistic development of all the regions of Jammu and Kashmir without resorting to any disparities.
“The Party believes in a pragmatic political approach which can solely help to usher in an era of peace and progress in the region. While other political parties are busy in emotional blackmail and misleading slogans, Apni Party has dedicatedly worked for the public welfare and the resolution of their grievances on ground zero,” he said.
He said that Apni Party has a specific road map for commencing a progressive developmental change in Jammu and Kashmir and with time more people are reciprocating with the Party’s agenda.
“This is a people-centric party which has outrightly discarded the family political hegemony and as Nazir Yatoo sahib has joined the party-fold today, we also welcome everyone who wishes to join this caravan of change and contribute to make J&K a developed and prosperous region,” he remarked
He said the party has stood firm with the people in the times when others maintained silence and have always voiced their pressed concerns without any reservations or underlying interests.
On this occasion, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Farooq Andrabi and Noor Mohammad Sheikh also welcomed the new entrants and impressed upon them to work diligently for the public welfare in their respective area and to put forth unstinted efforts for the mitigation of their problems.
Thanking the Party leadership for carving out a niche in the political arena of Jammu and Kashmir in a record time, Nazir Yatoo said that it was the agenda and practical approach of the Apni Party that motivated me and my colleagues to join Apni Party and we pledged to work for the betterment of the people under this umbrella,” he added.
