The PDP youth president North Kashmir and a Councillor of Municipal Council Sopore Irfan Ali Thursday said that Sopore will witness massive developmental changes in coming months.
He said that in a first, the sub district hospital Sopore will be converted into a district hospital with all the facilities available for the common people.
Irfan said that efforts are on to convert the SDH Sopore into a full fledged district hospital- a dream project for the people of Sopore.
“This health institution caters to a large population including people from Sopore town, it’s outskirts, Rafiabad, Handwara, Kupwara and even Bandipora outskirts and it deserves to be a district hospital. We have taken enough measures to turn SDH Sopore into a full fledged district hospital,” Irfan Ali said.
He said that higher officials have assured that this issue will be redressed very soon and SDH will be upgraded to a district hospital.
Irfan also assured street vendors that all issues will be redressed at earliest through proper strategy and no one will suffer.
He also appealed to the people of Sopore to cooperate and work in tandem for regaining the title of Chota London for Sopore.
