One Day Seminar on CYBER CRIMES AGAINST WOMEN UNDER THE THEME CYBER SMART HELD AT GDC WOMENS COLLEGE SOPORE

Department of computer Applications Government Degree college for women  sopore held one day seminar on CYBER CRIMES AGAINST WOMEN  PRECAUTIONS AND STRATEGIES.

The Chief guest on the occasion was SP Sopore  Sudanshu Verma , Principal Degree college for Women Prof. F. R Beigh, Panel Discussion cum Assistant Professor Department of Computer Sciences, Dr. Faheem Masoodi,  Prof. Tanveer Ahmad lone Assistant Professor Department of Computer sciences baramulla, Aazim Pandith a well known criminal lawyer , Wasim Ahmad Regional Director ICICI Bank among other prominent dignitaries and representatives and a huge gathering of students.

The theme of the programme was BE CYBER SMART and various students through light on the topic as we have seen these days various cyber crimes particularly among women.
SP sopore Sudanshu verma on the occasion said thaf this is the need of the hour to conduct such programme as this is the real need of hour.
He said that there are various ways to tackle cyber crimes depends on the nature of the crime and there are certain laws which will take care of it.
Various girl students threw light on the topic and made skits and banners to adress this topic and later of award ceremony was also held in the programme.
