Kupwara, SEP 01: The initiative is aimed at providing quality education to deserving students from Kupwara and offer them opportunities and exposure to acquire requisite competence and capability for a secure future.
Eight deserving students selected by VAJR DIV from remote locations of Gurez, Tangdhar, Keran and Macchal are set to embark on a momentous journey on 02 Sep 21 to pursue quality education at Pune sponsored by ASEEM foundation.These eight students (06 boys & 02 girls) along with parents were well received at AGS Wayne on 28 Aug 21 for preliminary stay before they finally leave for Pune on 02 Sep 21.
Their boarding and lodging was hosted by Kupwara Terriers at AGS Wayne where they were tested for COVID 19 on arrival. Subsequently, to make their stay enthralling the students were introduced to communication skill & basic etiquette curricula by Lt Sushmita Singh during morning hours followed by screening of motivational movies during the evenings apart from their daily online chores of academic curriculum. Brig Brijesh Dhiman, Dy GOC, Vajr Div interacted with the students on 01 Sep 21 and wished them good luck for this future endeavour, assuring the proud parents about the association they were about to experience with an extremely professional organisation, ASEEM foundation who are kind, compassionate and have a vision and aims for these eight selected students.
While addressing the students he said, ‘ASEEM foundation will guide you along the path of success and happiness. Have faith in Allah and keep moving slowly and steadily to a successful and prospering future’. This endeavour subsequently offers a novel opportunity to more such deserving 34 students of Kupwara district to shape their future into a dream career by studying in the country’s best schools and colleges with stellar faculty, innovative pedagogy, immersive experience and state-of-the-art infrastructure by end of this year.
