VALUES
Value is a principle, standard, or quality that you consider appropriate or desirable. Everyone has values. It is personal beliefs that tell you what is right or the right way to think, believe, live, and let live. Values are the things that are so important in life that life would be meaningless without them, such as honesty, kindness, care, autonomy, helping others, and financial independence. Values guide you in deciding what to do with your life. It is important to understand while making any decisions in life we should be aware of our value and those decisions should acknowledge our personal values as we do not want to get involved in something that does not conform to your standards. Values serve as our individual sensemaking architecture. Personal values shape the experience of the world.

VALUES AFFIRMATION
Value Affirmation is a brief activity in which a person writes and reflects on the values that are very much important and meaningful to them and the way they incorporate these values into their lives. A values affirmation is one among the foremost studied self-affirmation interventions because it is through the lens of private values that the self is evaluated. Incorporating a values affirmation activity into a category has demonstrated a spread of advantages, including increasing open-mindedness. A values affirmation also can reduce stress arising from social identity threat, during which someone could also be devalued due to a specific identity or group membership that they need.

STRESS
According to the UK’s Health and Safety Executive stress is “the reaction people have to excessive pressures or other types of demand placed upon them”. Sadly, stress is not uncommon. In today’s fast-moving world, persistent stress is common, however the thoughts and mental schema will pay an excessive price. Stress is the feeling of now a person no longer is capable to deal with unique needs and events. However, stress can be a persistent circumstance if someone does not take steps to manipulate it. It reasons the brain to flood with hormones that put together its structures to keep away from or confront danger.

RESILIENCE
Various ways which can help increase resilience:

Be proactive against adversity. You strengthen your resiliency once you are proactive, but you weaken it once you become passive and reactionary. A bit like resiliency, being passive and reactionary may be a learned reaction and one that you simply can change with practice.
Build on your experience. Most of the people know once they feel stress, but most do not learn from their experiences with stress management. How have you ever coped with hardship within the past? What skills and methods have helped you through tough times? What approaches have not worked well? Write these down and make a conscious effort to use what you recognize about yourself as you navigate future life challenges.
View adversity as normal. Nobody likes the very fact that hardship, trauma, sorrow, and pain are a part of our lives. The question is not whether we will experience adversity but how we will manage it. Once you brace yourself against the winds of adversity in an attempt to fight it, you will find yourself broken. The gale force winds are just too strong sometimes. But, if sort of a tree within the wind, you learn to bend, become flexible and adapt to the new challenges that emerge, you will find ways to not only survive but thrive. And once you can learn to try to do that, you will recognize that you simply have learned resilience.
