Srinagar: Prominent political activist hailing from district Kupwara on Tuesday joined Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk Srinagar.
The new entrants who joined Apni Party included Javid Ahmad Thkiri, Mohammad Issac Bhadana, Ghulam Haider, Shafiq Ahmad, Shabir Ahmad, Aftab Ahmad Bhadana & Khursheed Ahmad Bhadana.
Welcoming the new entrants into the Party-fold, Mohammad Ashraf Mir expressed sanguinity that these joining will further strengthen the party in district Kupwara at grassroots level.
“Apni party has robustly voiced its demand for an equitable development of all the regions of Jammu and Kashmir. Our leaders have always asserted that villages must be brought at par with urban areas in order to wipe off the disparity in terms of infrastructure and basic facilities,” Mir remarked on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the new entrants thanked the Party Leadership for providing them with a relatable platform while expressing that the pro-people agenda of Apni Party influenced them to join the party-fold.
Furthermore, the new entrants pledged to work diligently for the public welfare in their respective areas and strengthen the party at base levels.
Besides Apni Party Provincial President, the occasion was attended by District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor, District President Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Mir, District General Secretary Kupwara Bilal Arif and ST Coordinator Kupwara Mohammad Ayoub Kataria.
