Mansha Bashir hailing from Chattbal area of Srinagar district who wants to win gold medal in upcoming Olympics. She done his schooling from Batol memories institute Srinagar then move to Higher secondary Nawakadal. At present she pursuing b.a final year. At the age of 4 days his father died during cross firing since then she lives with her brother and mother. Since childhood she Interested in Taekwondo game as her mother Interested in this game.
In 2014, Mansha has formally joined in Taekwondo. She participated number of Taekwondo Tournaments in district, state, national and International levels. In 2014-16She participated in different Tournaments in district. In 2016, She moved for Taekwondo state championship at different state of India includes Panjab, Lucknow, Dehli, Chandigarh and Pune as she bags 4 gold medles in national level.In 2017 She gets entry into Taekwondo International championship held at Bangkok as she bags silver medles first time. In 2018 she also selected for International Tawakwango championship which was held at Malaysia for Second time as she bags gold medle. In 2018, Sports Authority of India selected her for NS NIS course. Third time in 2019, She also bags gold medle at International Taekwondo championship which was held at Bangkok.
Mansha Bashir while exclusively talking with Kashmir Glacier said that, “Since childhood I have interest in Taekwondo as my mother also willness in this game. When Jammu and Kashmir hit with flood in 2014 since then i have in this game as I bags 4 national gold medles and 3 International levels includes 2 gold and one silver. I am the First Female from Jammu and Kashmir who done NSNIS course.”
Mansha while exclusively talking with Kashmir Glacier “My mother and brother support me from the early stage as my father had died in cross Firing when I was at the age of 4 days, since then my mother can’t leave me as even receive criticism from people for allowing me in Taekwondo and give me every support even during good or bad times. My mother has not barred me any time if i had go on night for practices. Initially I got injured many times but my mother give me strength for uplifting.”
My dream is to represent Indian in Olympics and get gold medles. I also wants to join Indian aArmy in further for guarding my country.
She further said that I have organised Khelo Kashmir event at Srinagar after abrogation of article 370,35a in which more than 2000 children’s participated. In 2021 i was again organised Khelo Kashmir II in Srinagar. I have also trained more than 2000 girl for self-defending free of cost. Presently i am trained boys and girl in Taekwondo free of cost as in future they will also make their parents proud. I have Trained poor, orphan and need players without free of cost as I have seen such stage in my life.
Mansha while exclusively talking with Kashmir Glacier said that, “Initially government of Jammu and Kashmir had help me but since i had requested him frequent time for help but all in vains even i have meet by then the Lieutenant governor Jammu and Kashmir Murmu but no positive response had received. Hundreds of girls from different parts of India had passed in NSNIS course with me, all get Job and their government facilitated her still me Can’t get job or facilitation from authorities. I was completely ignored from Jammu and Kashmir administration.
She further said that, “In Jammu and Kashmir has lot of talent in every field but there is lack of platform as government should take intuitive to engaged youth through games or other means. In Kashmir valley drugs has raised as youth take every drugs which is Cause of concern. If government will available platform for youths, they will be engaged in this field if not then there talents will go waste.”
