Srinagar: Baghdadi Restaurant in Shalteng along highway has come under massive fire here on Wednesday afternoon.
Reports reaching news agency Global News Service (GNS) said that the fire broke out in the three-storey building and in no time spread to a major part of the building.
An Fire and Emergency (F&ES) Emergency official confirming the incident told GNS that fire tenders have been rushed to the spot and are on job to douse off the flames. “Nearly a dozen gas cylinders have blasted in the raging fire so far, owing to which it may take fair bit of time for the rescue team to bring the flames under control”, the official said.
The official said that there however was no human loss or injury reported so far.
