Srinagar, Mar 21: Hours after Khursheed Alam, another former MLC Yasir Reshi has tendered his resignation from basic membership of Mehbooba Mufti-led Peoples Democratic Party.
Reshi, former MLC for Sonawari constituency in Bandipora, while talking to GNS said that he has resigned, as according to him, the party had over the time failed to come upto expectations of general public.
“The party has off late lost its track and one can’t see anything significant happening in this direction as to enable the party gain its lost momentum”, Reshi said.
“I wish the party leadership all the best for its future endeavours”, he said.
Meanwhile romours are rife that Reshi may join Sajad Ganie Lone led Peoples Conference anytime soon.
It is pertinent to mention here that Reshi’s resignation is second in a single day after Khursheed Aalam called it quits from PDP this afternoon. (GNS)
