Srinagar, Mar 17:  Two days after conclusion of a firefight leading to killing of a militant duo, Army on Wednesday have again launched a cordon-and-search-operation at Rawalpora village in south-Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Official sources told Global News Service (GNS) that on receipt of specific inputs, a team of Army’s 34 Rashtriya Rifles launched searches this afternoon at Pahelnara mohalla of Rawalpora village.
All exit points were sealed and house to house searches launched, they said.

Pertinent to mention here that, two local militants – JeM Commander Wilayat Lone alais Sajad Afghani and Jehangeer Ahmad Wani (LeT) – were killed in an encounter, concluding on Monday last. (GNS)
