Handwara, Feb 25: A 4 year old kid died of ‘convulsion’ in North Kashmir’s Handwara town.

Ahraan Rizwan son of Muhammed Rizwan Wani, a resident of Kultoora village of Langate Handwara was suffering from cough and fever, his family said.

Hospital sources told KNT that the kid was brought dead in the hospital. They said prima facie the cause of the death seems due to ‘convulsion’.

A convulsion is an episode in which one experiences rigidity and uncontrolled muscle spasms along with altered consciousness. The spasms cause jerky motions that generally last for couple of minutes. (KNT)
