Srinagar, Feb 23: Traffic Police in Kashmir capital Srinagar Tuesday strictly directed drivers ferrying school children to desist from using LPG kits in their vehicles.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic city Srinagar in this issued an advisory that reads: “It has been reported that some school buses and van operators ferrying school children are using LPG Kits in their buses and vans as modification of usage petrol or diesel which endangers life of school going children.”
“The modification is violation of Motor Vehicles Act and in such case the vehicle shall be seized.”
The advisory as per KNT further states that the parents, school administration and the school bus or van operators ferrying school goers are requested to ensure that no such violation takes place. (KNT)
