Duo Arrested with Brown-Sugar like Substance in Karnah

 

Kupwara, Feb 10 : Two persons in alleged of possession of brown-sugar like substance have been arrested in Karnah of Tanghdar on Wednesday morning.

SHO Tanghdar Mudasir Ahmad told GNS that two suspected persons were frisked by a police party upon which at least 15 grams of brown sugar was recovered from their possession.

Identifying the accused as Amjid Ahmad Chak and Safeer Ahmad Awan residents of Kharpwara, the official further said that an FIR number 08/2021 under section 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered and further investigations taken up. (GNS)
