Shopian, Jan 16: Over 3 kilogram Charas was recovered from a man in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday.
A police official told KNT that the accused was searched at a Naka in Zainapora area of Shopian. Upon frisking, 3 kg charas was recovered from him.
The accused has been identified as Ghulam Hasan Sheikh son of Ghulam Ahmed, a resident of Heerpora Shopian.
“He said been arrested and a formal case vide FIR number 4/21 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered against him,” the official said. KNT
