3 Travelers, Trooper Among 113 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, 1 Death In J&K

Active Cases Reduce To 1682 As 198 More Patients Recover

 

Srinagar, Jan 12 : Three travelers, a Paramilitary trooper and a minor were among 113 fresh novel coronavirus cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, officials said on Tuesday.

Among the fresh cases, they said, 65 are from Jammu Division and 48 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total tally to 122764.

Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 24 cases, Baramulla 5, Budgam 2, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 3, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 2, Kulgam 2, Shopian 2, Jammu 48, Udhampur 5, Rajouri 0, Doda 2, Kathua 1, Samba 4, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 2 and Reasi 2.

Among the cases, a number of them were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of SKIMS Soura, CD and GMC Anantnag hospitals.

The CD cases include four males (28, 56, 48, 39) from BB Cantt Srg, male (50) and female (42) from NA, male (56) from Qamarwari Srg, male (67) from NA, two females (31, 16) from Habakadal, male (30) from Handwara, male (80) from Sumbal Bandipora, female (70) from Ratnipora Pulwama, female (22) from Humhama, male (23) from Indra Nagar.

The GMC cases include female (60) from Hazratbal.

SKIMS cases

The Budgam cases include two females (49, 18) from Checkpora, male (54) from Nambalhar, male (56) from Arath Budgam, male (50) from Arizal Budgam.

The CRPF cases include male (26) from 28 Bn Crpf Bemina Srinagar, male (27) from 28 Idsr, Vajr Mir Kupwara.

The Ganderbal cases include male (45) from Ganderbal, male (24) from Main, female (30) from Alasteng, female (60) from Baroosa Near Ganderbal, female (30) from Kulan Ganderbal.

The Srinagar case include female (42) from Lal Bazar, female (08) from Soura, female (40) from Shalimar, male (58) from Skims, female (35) from Bemina, male (56) from Natipora, male (54) from Lal Bazar, female (20) from Zoonimar, male (89) from Batapora, male (38) from Shribhat, female (14) from Soura, male (50) from Batpora, female (50) from Shalimar, male (28) from AG Bazar, male (54) from Lawaypora, male (22) from NA, female (24) from Tengpora, male (28) from Batpora, female (56) from Rawalpora, male (88) from Malabagh, female (65) from Tailbal, male (75) from Bemina S D A, male (56) from Umar Colony, male (70) from Parimpora Srinagar.

The Anantnag cases include male (67) from Pahalgam Anantnag. The Pulwama cases include female (19) from Sangam Pulwama. The Baramulla cases include male (54) from Boniyar Baramulla. The Bandipora cases include female (70) from Hajin Bandipora. The Kupwara cases include male (75) from Gushi Kupwara.

Moreover, they said, 198 more Covid-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—98 from Jammu Division and 100 from Kashmir valley. The number of active cases has reduced to 1682 in J&K. (GNS)
