Bandipora, Jan 10: Several elected panchs of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party from Ahamsharief village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district Sunday joined the People’s Democratic Party.
In a statement official spokesperson said that the Panchs from Ahamsharief village joined the PDP in the presence of newly elected DDC member, Abdul Ghani and BDC chairman Bonakoot block, Bashir Ahmad today.
He said that they were warmly welcomed into the party fold and they resolved to work for the development of their area.
The spokesperson also said that the new entrants resolved to work for strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
