Arms and ammunition recovered in Kupwara

Kupwara: Forces on Saturday claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition along the line of control (LOC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official told that following specific inputs large quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered which were sent from Pakistan.
He said this attempt of smuggle weapons was foiled along the line of control LOC in Keran sector on Saturday morning.
A police officer also confirmed this development to Agency and said a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated. He said four AK 47 rifles, eight magazines , 200 AK riffle ammunition were recovered. (KD)
