Bandipora, Oct 07: A free Medical Camp under civic action programme was organized by Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday in Bagtore area of Gurez in north kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official spokesperson said the camp was organized by 101-BN BSF at Government Boys Primary school Refugeepora village of Bagtore in the presence of Deputy Inspector General Sector Headquarter BSF Bandipora Shri Amit Tiyagi, Commandant Medical officer(SG) Ortho, FTR-HQ Kashmir and two GDMO from Srinagar.
He said that a large number of villagers participated in the medical camp during which medical checkups were conducted and free medicines were also distributed.
According him DIG, Amit Tyagi, on the occasion said they are going to conduct further four free medical camps among which two each will be organised at Neeru sector and Bagtore.
He said that keeping in view the COVID-19 pandemic, proper SOP’s were followed during the medical camp and the villagers were also provided with masks and hand sanitisers.
He also said that they received an overwhelming response from the border villagers who were provided free medical aid during the day long camp.
