Newly joined LeT militant held in Ananthnag



Ananthnag, Oct 01 : Security forces on Thursday arrested a newly joined Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit in South Kashmir’s Ananthnag district.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that during a naka which was laid by joint team of Army’s 19 RR, SOG and CRPF at Shahabad area of Dooru a newly recruited militant has been arrested.

The officer Identified arrested militant as Muzamil Bhat son of Ghulam Hassan Bhat.

As per official sources Bhat joined ranks on 27 September by posting his picture on social media carrying AK 47.

The officer said a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
