Manoj Sinha inaugurated the Jammu and Kashmir Police Women’s 2020 Cricket Tournament at Degree College, Anantnag

 

Teams from Anantnag, Kulgam and Pulwama are participating in this tournament. Famous Indian cricketer Suresh Raina was also present on the occasion.

The LG congratulated the young players for their efforts and wished them a bright future.

SSP Anantnag Sandeep Chaudhary has been organising various activities for youth development in South Kashmir. Last week a chess tournament was organised in which 130 young men and women participated.

This is the first time that a Women’s Tournament is being organised by Anantnag Police.

All participating teams will be provided kits, travelling allowance. The winner and runner up teams will get trophies and cash prizes.

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina interacted with teams during the inauguration of the tournament.

Shri Farooq Khan, Advisor, Shri Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary Home, IG Kashmir Shri Vijay Kumar, DIG SKR Shri Atul Goel and DC Anantnag were also present on the occasion.
