Three militants killed in Batamalo gunfight: IGP Kashmir

Srinagar, September 17:Three militants were killed in an encounter in Batamaloo area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on thrusday.

Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar told GNS that, three militants were killed in the gunfight, however their identity couldn’t be ascertained yet.

Earlier, A 145 year old Woman identified as Kounsar Riyaz of Batamalo was also killed in cross firing and a Deputy commandant of 117 Bn of CRPF identified as Rahul Kumar was injured, and subsequently shifted to 92 Base hospital for treatment. (GNS)
