SFA Bandipora Thrash United FC Watapora in Friendly Football Match by 3-0

 

SFA Bandipora Crushed United FC Watapora in the Friendly Football Match By 3-0 Played at Adnan Sports Ground here on Saturday. In the Play, From SFA Bandipora Aamir Sofi opened account in the 10th minute of the match giving early lead to the team. In the 16th minute of the first Play, SFA boys made an excellent wall pass move and Saqib made no mistake in netting the ball. From SFA Midfielder Aamir Sofi and Saqib Scored 1 and 2 goal of the match Respectively. SFA Boys dominated in the second half which resulted in a fine goal scored by Saqib in the 51th minute of the second half.

Though United FC Watapora made several moves from both flanks to reduce the goal deficit, but failed to convert into goals. The SFA team gave no chance of recovery to the opposite team. During the game, SFA boys tried to maintain the lead & consolidated their defence. When the final whistle blew the final score line didn’t alter 3-0 in favour of United FC Watapora. Hundreds of people and sports lovers from Nook and corner of area witnessed the match.

The Match was Organised by Bandipora Football Community in Collaboration with J&K Students Association and was Sponsored by Nishat Foot Wear. The Match was organised in order to Promote Football in the area as a goodwill gesture.

While interacting with players , Eminent Footballer and Licensed Coach, Tahir Baig said that there is very much talent among the Youths of the valley, they only need to be trained from the grass root level. Many football players who have represented the J&K at National level were part of it. On the occasion, Tahir interacted with players of both the teams and tested his soccer skills to inaugurate the inaugural match. He said that we organised this Match to Promote Football in the area. Bandipora Football Community will try every possible effort to promote football at local levels tahir said.

J&k Students Association Spokesperson Nasir Khuehami on this Occasion expressed gratitude to players for providing Bandipora Football Community and Association an opportunity to mingle with locals. He said that win or loss does not matter at all, it is sports spirit that has to be carried along.

Arif Sofi, Manager SFA Bandipora on this Occasion encouraged the players and advised them to play with sporting spirit and always preserve sanctity of sports and games. Mehran Sofi, from Noble Network Foundation appreciated Community for organising this event. In the sweep of its appeal, its ability to touch every corner of humanity, football is the only game that needed to be invented, Mehran said. Senior Footballer of Watapora Firdous Ahmad said that, such events provide an opportunity to the local youth to showcase their talent and channelize their energy in a positive way.
