Pattan Gunfight: All civilians rescued, fresh firing resumes

Army Major Injured during Gunfight 

Pattan, Sep 04 : Fresh Firing resumed in Pattan gunfight as forces rescued all civilians in the area.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that fresh firing resumed, however no militant killing so far.

He said forces rescued all the civilians and shifted them yo safer location.

Earleir in the initial stage of gunfight an Army Major was injured.

Pertinently, A Joint team of Army’s 29 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation at Yadipora area of Pattan following inputs about the presence of some militants.

The gunfight broke out after searching party was fired by hidding militants.
