Sarpanch shot by militants in Kulgam, shifted to hospital

Kulgam: Suspected militants on Tuesday evening shot a Sarpanch in Kulgam district.
Sources told that suspected militants fired upon a Sarpanch, who was identified as Asif Ahmad from Akhran Mir Bazar Kulgam
Sources added that the Sarpanch was shifted to Hospital, where he is under treatment.
Meanwhile whole area has been cornoded off to nab the attackers.
Pertinently, Teo policemen were injured at Wanpora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama District in a militant attack. (KD)
