Srinagar: Global Students Union President ” Peer Tehleel Manzoor” on Friday extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion of Eid-al-adha, with a call to celebrate the festival in a spirit of communal harmony, religious gaiety and bonhomie.
In his message of felicitations on the eve of this auspicious occasion, Peer Tehleel said: “Eid gives us the message of love, unity and brotherhood. Sharing happiness increases them. Extending help to the poor and needy will also usher happiness in their lives. In view of COVID-19 pandemic, people Should observe this festival with utmost caution and abide by the social and health protocols of COVID-19 so as to stem the spread of this deadly disease.
“Let us on this day rededicate ourselves and come together to build bridges of love and affection to create a world that is free of falsehood and animosity, imbibing the spirit of brotherhood that is intrinsic to the occasion, which teaches us the values of compassion and tolerance,” said Peer Tehleel.
