Sopore: A non-local has been arrested for damaging a workshop and stealing equipments in North Kashmir’s Sopore town of Baramulla district.
A local Ishfaq Ahmed of Noorbagh area had filed a complaint at police station Sopore that unknown burglars had damaged gate of his workshop and stole equipments like batteries and tyres.
Police Station Sopore accordingly registered an FIR vide number 201/2020 under section 457,380 and set investigation into motion.
A police official told news agency KNT that after hard efforts police zeroed in on a non-local and during questioning he not only confessed his crime but also showed the location where he had kept the stolen items.
The non-local burglar has been identified as Muhammad Rufsana son of Sadik Ali, a resident of Wali Bari West Bengal.
Pertinently, a couple of days ago, police station Nowhatta had arrested a non-local burglar from Uttar Pradesh and recovered cash, gold and other stuff from his possession. (KNT)
