Srinagar, July 21: Government forces on tuesday afternoon launched a cordon and search operation(CASO) in North Kashmir’s Sopore town.
A police officer told KDC that a CASO was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area by joint team of Army’s 22RR, Sopore Police and 179 BN.
Sources told that a heavy contingent of security forces was witnessed in the area and house to house searches were on till this report was last filled. (KDC)
