Srinagar,July 15 : Forces on Wednesday evening launched a cordon and search operation in summer capital city Srinagar.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a mixture of forces Including QRT CRPF and Police sealed AhmadNagar area of Soura Srinagar and conducted house to house searches in the area.
A police officer also confirmed to Kashmir Despatch and said following inputs about the presence of some militants searches were launched in the area.
