Srinagar, Jul 14: A joint rescue team of SDRF and police have retrieved body of a 20-year-old youth, hours after its drowning in a water reservoir in Shaldraman area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police official, part of the rescue operations, told GNS that the joint rescue team retrieved the body of one Imtiyaz Ahmad, a resident of Tral Payeen who had drowned in the reservoir this evening.
The rescue operation, as per the official, also saw an active participation of locals in the area.
The body of the youth has been handed over to the family after conduction of all medico-legal formalities, the official added.(GNS)
