Duo sustains injuries in dog bite incident

Kupwara: Two elderly persons have received injuries after attacked by a pack of stray dogs here in Thundoosa Lolab area in the district on Sunday evening.
The duo identified as Mohammad Abdullah Lone (65) son of Habibullah and Abdul Rehman Lone (75) son of Abdul Kareem Lone residents of Thundoosa Lolab were evacuated to Sub-District Hospital Sogam.
However they were referred to District Hospital Handwara for advanced treatment later in the evening.
Meanwhile locals in the area have urged concerned health department to make available the vaccine required to treat patients affected in dog bites incidents. (GNS)
