Youth dies in accidental fire during hunting in Anantnag



Srinagar, July 10:A youth died in accidental fire during hunting (Shikaar) in Daksum of Larnoo forests in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.

A senior Police officer told GNS that, the youth had gone for hunting to the forest during which his 12 bore rifle went off accidentally, resulting in his death.

The officer identified the youth as Muneer Ahmad Chouhan (22) son of Late Lal Chouhan resident of Gadol Larnoo.

Police and Forensic team had to travel by foot as it is remote area, the officer said.

A case FIR number 48/202,302 IPC 7/25 IA act has been registered by Larnoo Police station and investigation started.(GNS)
