International Day against Drug Abuse observed in Ganderbal


SRINAGAR  JUNE(KG) International Day against Drug Abuse was observed in Lari Prang Kangan area of central Kashmir Ganderbal district on Friday.

Locals while holding playcards appealed general public to join hands to fight the drug addiction in which more and more people are getting involved.

Suhail Rashid mir said, Society should support activities of non-governmental organizations, working in different areas who are working to fight drug addiction besides rehabilitation of addicts.

They appealed government to accelerate the struggle against the scourge of drugs and to adopt measures to strengthen co-operation and multi-disciplinary approach to tackle the problem.(KG)
