Tipper stolen in Srinagar recovered from Anantnag, lifters absconding

 

Srinagar, June 25: Thieves stole a tipper in Kashmir capital Srinagar on Thursday and today police recovered the same from South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

From past week, a number of vehicles have been stolen in different parts of Kashmir. Police sources told news agency KNT that during late hours on Thursday some unknown thieves stole a tipper (JK05A/4330) from Parimpora Fruit Mandi area.

The tipper belonged to one Fayaz Ahmad Fafoo son of Muhammad Ramzan of Ruhan Gali Parimpora Srinagar.

A police official said that an FIR vide number 114/2020 under section 379 was registered while during investigation, the tipper was recovered from Anantnag on Thursday. He said those who stole the tipper are still absconding while efforts are on to trace them. (KNT)
