Three Militant Associates Held in Sopore : Police



Sopore, June 20 : Sopore Police on Saturday in a statement said three militant associates were apprehended in the town and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.

In a statement issued to news agency KINS reads,
Today on 20-06-2020, Sopore Police/ 22/52 RR & 179/92 Bn CRPF in a joint operation at Bomie/Tarzoo arrested three militant associates of LeT outfit having their identity.

Shabir ahmed mir @molvi S/O Mohd Sultan Mir R/O Brath Kalan Sopore, Mohd Abbas Mir S/O Abdul Rashid Mir R/O Brath Kalan Sopore and Fahim Nabi Bhat @Docter S/O Ghulam Nabi Bhat R/O Tarzoo Sopore

Incriminating material including following arms and ammunitions recovered from there possession: Chinese pistol = 01 No.
Pistol magazines = 02 No
And pistol rounds = 73 No

Regarding the incident FIR under relevant section of law registered in Police Station Bomie and investigation taken up.(KINS)
