CASO launched in Pattan village




Baramulla June 12 : Government forces on Friday evening launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Tilgam village of Pattan North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a joint team of Army’s 29 RR, CRPF, SOG Pattan and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched CASO in the village.

Police officials said that the operation was launched after receiving credible inputs about the movement of suspected militants in the village.

“All entry and exit points of the area have been sealed and door to door searches are going on,” sources said.

However, there were no immediate reports of any contact with the militants. The search operation was going on till last reports came—(KNO)
